We are often asked why use the name Knight? The answer is surprisingly simple!
Gawain’s name comes from Welsh Arthurian legend. Sir Gawain was King Arthur’s nephew as well as a Knight of the round table. He is often referred to as one of the greatest knights, notably in the tale of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. However there’s a lot deeper meaning to this as well. Here at Knight Garage Doors we knew we would be about providing strong, quality garage doors, while remaining honest and striving for excellence, just like a knight!
